The man, while trying to serve legal documents to the recipient, became aggressive and confrontational, leading to a physical altercation. The recipient reported the process server to the legal authorities, and the validity of the service was questioned. This case goes to highlight that while trying to do your job as a process server, on no account should you start being physically violent to anyone because it will not serve any purpose.
2. The Server Who Couldn’t Do Their Job
People who have worked in any law enforcement position understand how difficult it can be for people to enforce the law. For process servers, they have their work cut out for them when it comes to serving legal documents because most recipients intentionally evade service because they want to thwart the legal proceedings. The second worst process server we have heard of is a process server who stopped making attempts to serve legal documents on the recipient simply because she had gone to their home and workplace and could not find the recipient.
