OKC Private Investigations & Process Server in Oklahoma

The financially wealthy Roman Catholic Church has found itself plagued with sex scandals over the years that have found large swaths of innocent children sexually battered, abused, and left for dead. As if the Catholic Church’s treatment of women, Native Americans, the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and other oppressed minorities over the centuries and millennium were not bad enough, the harm this institution has caused countless children only serves to further stain an already fraudulent religion that scams governments out of tax money and the everyday people out of their hard-earned income.

History of Abuses Within the Roman Catholic Church:

The Roman Catholic Church came to power after the alleged life and death of someone its followers consider to be the “Son of God,” Jesus. Over the last almost two thousand years, the Catholic Church and those within it have committed some truly horrific crimes. Our civil rights private investigators denote that some of the many historic types of abuse scandals the Roman Catholic Church has faced over the years include, but are not limited to, the following:

The Crusades:

The Catholic Church was instrumental in bringing about four major Crusades from 1095-1291. They occurred in 1095, 1099, 1204, and 1294 with the fall of Acre. Fighting over land, power, and financial wealth was what the Catholic Church’s Crusades were all about, not love, Jesus, Heaven, love, or kindness. Targeting mostly Muslims and occasionally Jews, the Catholic Church said, “Believe in our God or die!

Inquisitions:

Lasting from 1184-1834, the Roman Catholic Church has historically targeted Jews throughout Europe, forcing them to choose between converting to Catholicism and its tribalism and facing expulsion or even death. Our genocide private investigators point out that the Catholic Church harmed countless people for greed, power, bigotry, money, and land, and for that it should be extremely ashamed.

Selling of Indulgences:

For over two hundred years from 1300-1567, our fraud private investigators contend that the clergy in the Roman Catholic Church, in its persistent quest to gain more power and money, used to sell tickets to “Heaven” . . . for a monetary price. Yes, people who had done truly horrific things in life could receive an eternal “get out of Hell free” card, if they paid enough money. Indulgences are just another sad example of abuses within the Roman Catholic Church that bleed toxic corruption.

Transatlantic Slave Trade:

From 1452 until 1839 when Pope Gregory XVI finally issued an edict of sorts which formally condemned the slave trade, the Roman Catholic Church has a dark, painful history of collaboration and outright decimation of those it helped enslave. Sadly, Catholics often used Leviticus 25:44-46, Exodus 21:20-21, Ephesians 6:5, and 1 Peter 2:18 as its justification for the enslavement of others and the perpetuation of the Transatlantic Slave Trade.

For those reading this who want to see some of the true absurdity of the Bible – the Big Book of Bad Ideas – they may watch this video clip and read an even longer list here. Indeed, our fraud private detectives also found a list of over seven hundred Biblical inconsistencies as well. So, be sure to educate yourself and graduate from universities. The more formal education one has, the less conservative and religious they are and vice versa. Knowledge is power!

Mistreatment of Native Americans:

Our private eyes also point out that the historical mistreatment of the Native American population contributed to the genocide against these innocent people. While the Vatican has in more recent times apologized for their wayward behavior, many throughout the world view their hollow words as too little, too late.

Failure to Act During the Nazis’ Genocide:

While Hitler and the other Nazis massacred Jews, Romas, Catholics, people with disabilities, children, women, racial minorities, non-Christians, intellectuals, trade unionists, Communists, and others they deemed “unfit” during the 1930s and early-to-mid 1940s, the Catholic Church stood by and did nothing. While it is true that the Vatican had no real standing army and was worried that the Nazis would simply overrun and massacre them as well, they could have done something more. Once again, their “apology” later has often fallen upon deaf ears.

Mistreatment & Marginalization of Women:

Even in 2026, the owners of our private investigation agency still finds that the Roman Catholic Church has excluded and mistreated women. From confining them to serving only as nuns and always subject to male priests and other males higher up in the cult to failing to approve divorces/annulments and more, the male-dominated Catholic Church has much to atone for. Sadly, our cult private investigators do not see their mistreatment of females changing anytime soon.

Persecution of the 2SLGBTQIA+ Community:

Even in 2026, the treatment of those who are members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community has been atrocious. The pope, cardinals, and other religious cult leaders and their followers often classify and treat people who are transgender, nonbinary, gay, lesbian, bisexual, and pansexual as second-class citizens. While the RCC is not outright executing them like it used to, our murder private investigators note that the Catholic Church still supports terrible laws and segregates them from the church community in degrading, dehumanizing ways which cause immense harm to many.

Mistreatment of People with Disabilities:

For about seven hundred eighty years from the 1200s-1980, the Roman Catholic Church has mistreated those with disabilities. From equating these individuals as spiritually unfit or sinful to sticking them in atrocious, deleterious insane asylums with little or no support, the Roman Catholic Church’s history on these vulnerable individuals leaves plenty to be desired. Our disability private investigators do note, however, that since 1981, the Vatican and the RCC itself have both made some progress in how they treat people with disabilities.

Pedophilia as a Systemic Problem Within the Catholic Church:

Our clergy sexual abuse private detective at our private investigation agency notes that priests have long abused altar boys and girls over the years. Their conscious choice is to prey upon vulnerable, innocent children.

Likewise, priests, bishops, and cardinals have also long-abused seminarians, female nuns, and other Christians, let alone other vulnerable minority groups. Indeed, the child molestation and pornography situation became so atrocious, that in 2002 the entire sex abuse scandal within the church became known. There had been so many coverups and enabling of child sexual abuse by countless so-called “men of ‘God’” over the years, extending even to bishops, archbishops, cardinals, and popes.

By 2015, a movie called Spotlight came out, which severely embarrassed the embattled Roman Catholic Church. Of course, our rape private investigators note that the Vatican in Rome and other church leaders truly earned this disgrace, culminating in a plethora of criminal charges and civil lawsuits for compensation for victims of sexual violence. The owners of our private investigation agency in Tulsa, OK note that the number of children abused is astounding. The enormous monetary payouts from “believers” who wanted their money to go toward helping those facing poverty and homelessness has instead turned into payouts for pedophiles’ actions.

Causes of Pedophilia & Sexual Abuse Within the Roman Catholic Church:

Empirical studies show that about 14.6 percent to 15 percent of child sexual abusers have inherited/genetic pedophilia, while the other eighty-five percent experience these tendencies due to other factors. This type of pedophilia can pass from parent to child, and it is incurable. This sexual orientation, highly damaging though it is, is like the permanence researchers often find in other sexual orientations, such as being heterosexual, gay, lesbian, pansexual, and bisexual.

Thus, people with pedophilia like priests and nuns will often choose a “safe place” like the Catholic Church, because if they figure they will never like adult males, females, or nonbinary people anyway, at least now they have a valid, noble reason/excuse not to marry and engage in adult sexual and romantic relationships. This is because the Roman Catholic Church toxically demands celibacy from all priests, nuns, bishops, archbishops, cardinals, and popes and prohibits marriage for them, to reduce their financial costs. These prohibitive measures also allow the Roman Catholic Church to force clergy to focus all their time and energy on church work thus maximizing profits.

Additionally, the condition can also develop due to prenatal hormone levels while the unborn fetus is still growing inside the birthing parent’s belly. Indeed, differential hormone levels can also contribute to people innocuously becoming transgender, nonbinary, gay, lesbian, bisexual, or pansexual, etc. Hormones play a vital role in human development and the shaping of the rest of their lives in unchangeable ways.

Our criminal private investigators also note that kids, teens, and adults with hyperfocusing-inducing autism and/or OCD-P/OCD-Pedophilia have higher rates of child sexual abuse. Indeed, autism can cause people to have stunted emotional and social levels, seeing kids as their own age. Additionally, autism and OCO-P can also cause people to hyperfocus on certain people, characteristics, etc., such as a genetic, expressed interest in prepubescent children.

People raised by narcissistic caregivers tend to become extremely narcissistic, and while narcissism itself does not necessarily result in pedophilia, it can certainly help contribute to it. Indeed, narcissistic children, teens, and adults often turn inward more, and as such it can sometimes help fuel an innate attraction toward children.

Our criminal private investigator also points out that people with pedophilia also tend to have certain physical characteristics, such as being less intelligent, being shorter than average, and being left hand dominant or being ambidextrous. While there are certainly plenty of people with these traits who do not exhibit any signs of pedophilia, our sexual violence private investigator at our private detective agency in Lawton notes that there is nonetheless a statistically significant correlation.

How Child Molestation Private Investigators Conduct Clergy Sexual Abuse Private Investigations:

To properly conduct pedophile priest private investigations, our Catholic Church sexual abuse private investigators rely upon several investigative approaches for evidence gathering and criminal case discernment. These investigative steps include, but are not limited to, the following:

Victims’ Statements:

One of the most powerful forms of evidence in both civil and criminal investigations against clergy’s sexual misconduct involves what the alleged victims say. Do their statements show inconsistencies? Do they seem uncertain about facts and details, and/or have they recanted their statements? Victims of rape and child molestation at the hands of nuns, seminarians, priests, deacons, bishops, archbishops, and cardinal in the Roman Catholic Church’s initial claims are crucial to initiating and substantiating claims of sexual abuse, both at the civil and criminal levels.

Witness Testimony:

If others witnessed the alleged rape, child pornography, and other sexual offenses, then this is another vital component in substantiating both civil lawsuits and criminal charges against accused perpetrators of sexual violence. When alleged victims of priest sexual violence or even the dioceses in the Roman Catholic Church itself who are seeking an independent investigation into sexual misconduct allegations need help conducting sexual assault investigations, our legal professionals can contact witnesses and take their statements. We can also comb through paperwork and electronic files to discern whether any witnesses have made other previous statements throughout the years concerning this type of sexual abuse by clergy in the Roman Catholic Church.

Police Reports of the Alleged Abuse Incidents:

When the alleged victims of nun and priest sexual abuse and/or their families ever made reports to law enforcement over the years, this, too, is extremely helpful in substantiating both civil liability claims and when pursuing criminal charges against immoral clergy members. Reports victims have made to police over the years helps create a paper trail, substantiating the other concomitant case evidence and adding more credibility to the validity of such claims.

Of course, given the intense trauma, threats, and fear of retaliation, not everyone reports child sexual abuse and other criminal sexual misconduct. This is especially true when the victims are children, seminarians, nuns, and other vulnerable, innocent people with less power and authority than their abusers. The fact that Roman Catholic clergy have historically claimed to have “special powers” and “divine access/rights” to help forgive sins, change bread into Jesus’s “body” and wine into his “blood,” to marry people, and anoint the sick, creates an extraordinary power imbalance.

Indeed, people who fear losing access to the fake “Heaven” or, worse, having “God” send them to the equally fake “Hell” that Catholic clergy claim exist, inherently creates an enormous power imbalance in and of themselves. Thus, even without being a child, nun, seminarian, or virgin member of the Swiss Guard, if victims’ eternal existence hangs in the balance might become compromised if they report rape and other sexual misconduct, they may feel less inclined to want to do so. So, our criminal private investigator stresses that just because alleged victims and/or their families failed to report accusations of sexual abuse to law enforcement personnel, it does not mean that it did not necessarily occur.

Roman Catholic Church/School Files:

Other evidence that is helpful during the process of conducting rape private investigations involving the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) involves reviewing internal school/church/seminary files. The archdioceses, churches, schools, and seminaries often keep official records of grades, dates of attendance, tuition and donations paid, etc. Prosecutors and civil attorneys for child sexual abuse lawsuits can also subpoena these records, if the Catholic Church authorities refuse to hand it over voluntarily.

Medical Reports, Tests, & Psychologists’ Notes:

Any evidence of alleged victims receiving counseling for sexual abuse, undergoing pregnancy or DNA tests, photos from doctors documenting cuts, bruises, etc., are also helpful in determining whether sexual abuse or other violence by clergy occurred. If the abuse occurred decades ago, it is possible that medical providers may no longer have the information. However, with electronic records increasingly implemented into the medical records departments of hospitals, psychologists’ practices, and insurance companies, the preservation of this vital evidence can now last longer for newer incidences of sexual violence. Subpoenas can help circumvent HIPPA protection laws on patient privacy, especially when utilized for civil lawsuits and criminal proceedings in courts of jurisdiction.

Other Corroborating Evidence Showing the Victim Attended the Catholic Church/School/Seminary:

In terms of victim compensation, the Roman Catholic Church has paid out enormous sums of money to its victims and their attorneys over the years. The average claim ranges from about $250,000 to $400,00, though some have exceeded over one million dollars. Our clergy abuse private investigators point out that a link to some of the dollar amounts the Catholic Church has paid out over the years for sexual abuse claims is located here. The amount the Catholic Church pays out depends on several factors, which include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:

Amount of Available Evidence:

One huge influencing factor that helps determine the amount of payouts involves the amount of available evidence that sexual abuse occurred. The more evidence that is available to present to a judge or jury in a civil trial, the more likely the Catholic Church will be willing to spend larger sums of money to avoid a costly, embarrassing trial. Our rape private investigators have extensively discussed the types of evidence elsewhere on this page.

Location Where the Abuse Occurred:

If the sexual abuse occurred in states with richer populations and archdioceses where the cost of living is also higher, such as California and New York, the likelihood that the final amounts will be higher increases. So, kids living in poorer, economically disadvantaged areas, can find themselves screwed up the bum again just for living in a poorer area.

Severity/Type of Sexual Abuse:

Child molestation in the form of genital groping, while severe, that occurred once will typically pay out less than repeated rapes that took place over several years. Our priest sexual abuse private detectives note that these amounts can vary significantly, and the amounts also rely upon other factors.

Determination of the Plaintiffs & Their Attorneys:

For plaintiffs and their attorneys who vehemently push for a jury trial, their chances of securing a higher settlement or verdict amount increases. Those who cave in quickly and settle for less will get exactly what they deserve. So, it behooves civil law attorneys and their clients to push hard and hold their ground, playing the long game, while Catholic archdioceses will try to wear out the defendants and their attorneys through delays and attrition.

Overturning of Jury Awards on Appeal:

Sometimes judges have significantly lowered jury award amounts on appeal. Juries may have empathy and compassion, but sometimes judges are Catholic or are more sympathetic to the Roman Catholic Church because of ideology, political connections, loyalty, or other reasons. Thus, long appeals can sometimes pay off for the Roman Catholic Church and their insurers.

Catholic Church Bankruptcies:

Sometimes, civil defendants like the Boy Scouts of America and the Roman Catholic Church will rely upon bankruptcy protection to protect their institutions and screw over their victims again. This is unfortunate, but in some cases, it happens and can affect what amount, if any, victims of sexual violence receive.

Criminal Penalties for Convicted Catholic Church Pedophile Priests & Other Clergy Sex Offenders:

In earlier days, clergy members who committed sexual offenses against others often faced no criminal or civil penalties. Instead, bishops, archbishops, cardinals, and popes would simply shuffle them around from one church to another. Other fallen priests and nuns might end up confined to special living quarters for mentally ill priests, but actual civil and criminal punishment used to be rare. Saving the reputation of the institution takes precedence over victim compensation and restitution . . . you know, just as “Jesus” would have done.

Clergy members who have historically gone unpunished for child sexual was truest for abusive clergy who hold positions at the rank of bishop or above, as well as female nuns/sisters. Higher positions have long provided people from many levels of society with better political connections, the best civil and criminal defense attorneys, esteem, and forgiveness. Thus, despite countless sex scandals over the years with ministers involved with prostitutes, committing adultery, and “people of ‘God’” involved in committing or enabling abuse against children and adults, until recent times women and higher-level clerics have historically faced the least punishment.

In modern times and especially with the public turning against institutions they now feel have betrayed them and the morals they stand for, clergy abuse at the hands of clerics in the Roman Catholic Church often involve lengthy prison stays, civil judgment payouts, and defrocking with “zero tolerance” policies in place. Nevertheless, enforcement is sometimes spotty and subjective, with some countries like France having the most atrocious histories of pedophile priest sexual abuse.

Other Institutions with Higher Rates of Child Abuse:

While this page mostly focuses on sexual abuse by clergy belonging to the Roman Catholic Church, the owners of our private detective agency in Moore wish to point out that this type of abuse is hardly limited to the RCC. Indeed, other financially wealthy and politically powerful religious organizations like the Mormons/Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has found itself plagued with countless sexual misconduct claims, both civil and criminal. This embattled organization shows no signs of slowing down though, with its brainwashed followers, who are often less educated and less intelligent, blindly following its leaders and false promises of a celestial orgasm in the nonexistent “afterlife” of eternity even after victims have made their sexual abuse claims public.

There are several main categories of occupations which carry especially high levels of sexual abuse. Our pedophile private detectives point out that empirical evidence indicates that some of these occupations include, but are not limited to, the following:

Politicians:

Politicians have an extremely high levels of sexual assault against children, women, etc. They often get power, access to money and other privileged people, and they often lose touch with the needs of those who elected them. Our private eyes also note that this immense power can also further corrupt some politicians who already have questionable morals into sex offenders. The old saying, “Power corrupts, and total power totally corrupts” is true.

Boy Scouts of America (Now Scouting America):

The Boy Scouts of America, now rebranded as Scouting America, had long been plagued by scandals. From not allowing non-Whites, atheists, women, and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community to its persistent incidences of Boy Scout leaders sexual assaulting children, it finally went bankrupt and cut its longstanding ties with the notoriously conservative, anti-2SLGBTQIA+ Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. These discriminatory actions and the BSA’s history of sexual abuse, combined with kids’ access to alternative groups and electronic opportunities, has made the BSA’s numbers severely dwindle over the years.

Scouting America has had to adapt over the years to allow for a changing society, eventually allowing non-whites, females, members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and non-believers into their ranks as both youth members and adult leaders. The organization has done so to better adapt to a more diverse, changing world population with different needs. It has also had struggle to adapt to ongoing sexual abuse problems, and this has also proven to be an extremely big issue that has threatened its survival.

One of the biggest problems with the Boy Scouts of America was its “moral superiority” complex that the Mormon Church and Roman Catholic Church, among others, have also had. Like conservative religious places of worship, it became a haven for pedophiles and child molesters, while simultaneously casting innocent women, non-whites, atheists, and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community as predators as “undesirables” whom the organization must morally exclude.

Southpark even made a parody episode where the BSA expels a gay Boy Scout leader, while allowing a “straight” child molester to become the boys’ mentor instead. The similarities to the “morally superior” organization instead turning out to be just as morally bankrupt as the Roman Catholic Church, Mormon Churches, and others, surprised no one. Our child molestation private investigators still receive occasional requests for assistance in conducting Boy Scouts of America private investigations into sexual abuse claims and criminal charges.

Religious Leaders/Clergy:

Another profession which tops the charts of sex offenders within its ranks involves clergy members. These “people of god” are more prone to wield their power, godlike worship, and “special access” to eternal realms against their victims. Their ability to use their money, power, and authority to molest and subsequently silence their rape victims can be immense. Plus, some religious followers are quick to forgive religious leaders for their sexual transgressions.

Institutions like the Roman Catholic Church and LDS Church especially attract morally ambiguous cult leaders like priests. They claim moral superiority, access to fake eternal realms, and often receive godlike admiration from followers of their cults. In addition, many feel like the laws do not apply to them, because they take advantage of tax breaks even though they have no proof to substantiate claims of a “higher power” or spiritual realm.

Plus, conservative institutions like the Catholic Church and Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints offers a place of relative safety for those with pedophilia and others in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Since they horrifically shun the valid 2SLGBTQIA+ community, joining it helps “prove” to themselves and others that they really are “not” a member of this community. Thus, the number of closeted clergy members who are members of this innocuous, vulnerable community is quite high, compared to other professions.

The especially concerning thing about cults like these is not that they contain closeted members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community who often support anti-2SLGBTQIA+ policies, but that they also become havens for those with pedophilia and others with proclivities toward sexually abusing children. Hiding behind the “moral mask” while using power, admiration, and money that often accompanies clergy positions is a recipe for immense sexual abuse of vulnerable populations.

One of the other biggest complaints about religious organizations like the Roman Catholic Church, the LDS Church, the Boy Scouts of America, and other longstanding “moral” institutions is the high level of enabling of sexual abuse and coverups that took place over the years. Many of the leaders of these organizations had zero concern or empathy about victims’ suffering, instead choosing to continue the facade of patriarchy and pedophilia.

People, especially men, have historically felt safe and welcomed in these male-dominated institutions that offer a heterosexual normative where pedophilia and child abuse “do not” exist. Thus, they reasoned, “I cannot be a child molester” or be an innocuous member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ because I am an active member of a morally “superior” organization. Our rape private eyes have seen this misguided belief enable far too much predatory behavior over the years.

Educators:

While many educators are certainly highly respected, underpaid, underappreciated individuals, their chosen profession also gives them easy access to children entrusted to their care. Thus, countless horror stories exist of teachers, principals, and other professional scholars of all ages, races, and genders who have abused their power and authority for sexual/emotional gratification. Some perpetrators are even married and have children, but not even this stops all of them.

Healthcare Workers:

Since people working in nursing homes, hospitals, and other healthcare settings have special access to their patients that puts them near vulnerable people on a regular basis, the chances that sexual violence may occur increases. From psychologists choosing to date and even marry their patients to horrific child molesters like Dr. Larry Nassar who molested at least one hundred fifty-six children during his role as a USA Olympics doctor, there are some bad apples in this profession, too. Thus, our physician private investigators at our Oklahoma private detective agency receive requests to investigate questionable behavior.

CEOs/High-Level Corporate Executives & Financially Wealthy Individuals:

The more power and wealth an individual possesses, the more likely that person is to become corrupt. People in positions of power have a higher rate of sexual assault and marital infidelity, especially men. Thus, our corporate executive private investigators receive calls sometimes to investigate allegations of sexual misconduct, such as adultery and child molestation.
